The event hosted by MADE IN partners MUO, Oaza, Drugo more at Nikola Tesla Technical Museum in Zagreb using the example of the Adriatic Sea delved into the exploration of sea-related resources. Diverse lectures covered topics ranging from marine ecosystems to the impact of tourism on the sea environment, shedding light on crucial environmental issues, offering insights into various aspects of sea exploitation and sustainability. The event showcased a multidisciplinary approach towards understanding and conserving the Adriatic Sea.

Stakeholder meeting 13/06/2023The Future of Handicrafts and Design Connection
MAO Slovenija and Center Rog organised a special event and a round table highlighting the current situation of crafts and their connection with design in Slovenia. The public discussion with various experts, decision-makers, craftspeople and designers was intended for various stakeholders in the fields of crafts, design, architecture, art, museology and more. The aim is to raise awareness and encourage further cooperation in the field of preserving the rich European crafts heritage as well as exploring new means of disseminating traditional crafts knowledge and skills. The event also presented the activities all over Europe under the umbrella of MADE IN.

Conference 31/03/2023Crafting the Future
The conference organised by State Art Collections Dresden, Museum of Decorative Arts (SKD) was the official kick-off event of the Europe-wide MADE IN Platform for Contemporary Crafts & Design. The participating partners along with international experts from the fields of crafts, design and research discussed the future of crafts as an instrument for social and ecological change as well as manners of passing the knowledge of craftsmanship and heritage to future generations.
